Sensitive Personal Data (Texas TDPSA) We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data as defined under the TDPSA (e.g., precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, biometric data, health information). If such data is ever required for a specific purpose, we will obtain your explicit opt-in consent prior to collection.

Texas Residents (TDPSA): In addition to the above, Texas residents have the right to:

  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Obtain a portable copy of your data in a machine-readable format
  • Opt out of the sale of your personal data (we do not sell personal data)
  • Opt out of targeted advertising or automated profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects
  • Appeal our decision if we deny a rights request (see below)

Canadian Residents (PIPEDA / Law 25):

  • Request access to and correction of your personal data
  • Withdraw consent for non-essential processing
  • File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) or, for Quebec residents, the Commission d'accès à l'information (CAI)

Mexican Residents (LFPDPPP — ARCO Rights):

  • Acceso (Access): Request a copy of your personal data
  • Rectificación (Correction): Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Cancelación (Deletion): Request deletion of your data
  • Oposición (Objection): Object to specific uses of your data
  • File a complaint with INAI (Instituto Nacional de Transparencia, Acceso a la Información y Protección de Datos Personales)

How to Submit a Request: Contact us at info@slite.us with your name, contact information, and a description of your request. We will respond within 45 days of receipt. If additional time is required (up to an additional 45 days), we will notify you of the extension and the reason before the initial deadline expires.

Appeals: If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our denial notice. We will review and respond to appeals within 60 days.


8. Data Security

We implement the following technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest where applicable
  • Access controls and role-based permissions limiting data access to authorized personnel
  • Regular security assessments and vulnerability monitoring
  • Third-party payment processors that are PCI-DSS compliant

  • Notify the Texas Attorney General within 60 days if the breach affects 500 or more Texas residents
  • Notify the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and affected Canadian individuals if there is a real risk of significant harm (per PIPEDA breach reporting requirements)
  • Notify INAI and affected Mexican individuals in accordance with LFPDPPP requirements

Notifications will include a description of the incident, the type of data involved, steps taken to address the breach, and recommended actions you can take to protect yourself.


10. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
